| When Mike wasn't out in fire trucks, ambulances or boats rescuing people - he was rescuing stray and abused cats. |
On the left is Mango 2 days after we rescued him. On the right is Mike bottle feeding Rudy in the aftermath of Hurricane Isabel in September 2003. Mike had been out for 36 hours straight rescuing people and their pets. As tired as he was, he came home and helped to bottle feed the kittens before he went to bed to get some sleep. Below is a picture of the kittens 2 months later. |
